Every thing was pleasant and clean. A nice community
Was trying to choose 3 or 4 stars... was pleasantly surprised. It looks a little run down, but we got a good night's sleep and it was comfortable. The room was supposed to be non smoking but it wasn't. I suspect someone goofed and it may have errantly been the next door room. Either way, I would stay again.
Mrs. Gill was kind and accommodating. Stayed in one of the apartments for 8 months. Community like atmosphere, community room also. Good people, spacious rooms. No issues with bed bugs or any other bugs.
My dad has been living here for a few years. He seems pretty happy with it. The rooms are decent for a little motel
The only hotel in little scenic & historic ole' Rockford. but... It needs a bit of a facelift, but has super potential.
We stayed for a couple days rooms where really big better than we thought with two children it was perfect. The only thing that made it better the room I do believe it was haunted had things move right in front of us and nobody around to make them move plus being woke up with a man looking down on you if you're not afraid of ghosts you'll have fun

Humble, yet magnificent. We got stranded on a motorcycle trip, and neglected to reserve a room. We were referred to this motel, and were glad to take advantage of the affordable room. Our room was incredibly spacious, had new curtains, and was an incredible bargain. Absolutely recommend to ALL weary travelers.
The rooms are clean, the beds are pretty comfortable, and there is a nice bathroom. My only complaint is that the televisions are a little outdated, but the multiple choice of channels on the cable compensates for it.
The place is quiet and the owner is really nice and humble.
